About Education Alive
Our Mission
Education Alive was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every child can learn, provided they are taught how to learn. Located in the historic Nelson Mandela Building at 37 Harrison Street, Johannesburg Central, our school serves the heart of Johannesburg with a standard South African national curriculum, enhanced by the proven tools of Applied Scholastics Study Technology.
We are a co-educational school accepting students from Grade R through Grade 12. With 751 current students and the capacity to grow to 2,000, Education Alive is positioned to become one of Johannesburg's premier independent schools.
Our goal is to build a truly independent, privately funded school that is not reliant on government grants — one that delivers exceptional education through the power of Study Technology and the dedication of our APS-trained teaching staff.

Leadership
Chief Executive Officer — Education Alive
Okoh Dickson leads Education Alive as CEO, bringing a background in accounting and financial management to the challenge of building a sustainable, independent school in Johannesburg's city centre. Under his leadership, Education Alive has grown to 751 students while maintaining its commitment to the Applied Scholastics methodology.
Okoh is supported by a dedicated team including a Senior School Principal overseeing Grades 8–12 and a Junior School Principal overseeing Grade R through Grade 7. Together, they ensure that Study Technology is consistently applied across all year levels.
